The UK Strategy for Financial Wellbeing is taking forward the work of the Financial Capability Strategy Opens in a new window

Over 20 million of us can’t manage our money. 11.5 million have less than £100 in savings, and nearly nine million of us are in serious debt.

Financial capability - who is it for?

This website is for employers, charities, financial services, researchers, schools, local authorities and anyone looking to help people manage money. The Money and Pensions Service is the anchor organisation for the Financial Capability Strategy for the UK. Set up by government, we work in partnership with organisations to help everyone make the most of their money and pensions.
