Research and evaluation plays a crucial role in improving financial interventions

Researchers

Millions of people in the UK cannot cope with day-to-day financial events, are not planning for their retirement and are in financial difficulties.

The UK Financial Capability Strategy aims to tackle this problem by helping people take control of their money. To do this, we need to understand what works best to support financial capability, use this evidence to improve what we do and target our funding at effective interventions.

We need high quality, accessible research and evaluation to help us achieve these aims, so researchers and evaluators have a crucial role to play. This site contains a range of resources to support you.
