Throughout FinCap Week 2017 (now called Talk Money Week) there were events happening to showcase and share the work underway to improve financial capability. Here are some highlights:

16 Nov, London Talk Money: The Financial Capability Strategy Conference, organised by the Money Advice Service.

The conference explored the big issues in financial capability including technology, the workplace, engaging hard to reach groups, credit and debt and quality and evaluation. The day provided:

  • An opportunity to share, learn and celebrate work already underway to influence better money management
  • Practical workshops for those involved in delivering financial capability interventions
  • An update on what we have all achieved in the last year.

13 Nov, Scotland - hosted by Improvement Service Numeracy and Financial Capability – Exploring the Links. Webinar at 11am presented by Michael Royce and Helen Pitman, Money Advice Service.
